So yesterday I'm running my OS 18CV-RX and its making this really funny noise and I go over to it and its running WAY too hot. :nono:I richen it up on the high speed to about 3 3/4 to get it so that it seems about right but its still too rich and really lacking its power but still running hot. I don't have my heat gun with me(left it at home) so I don't know the Temps. Whats the factory settings on my OS 18CV-RX?? :depress:

Much Thanks,

Zachary

If it's running hot with the HSN really rich, your LSN is probably lean. The HSN just masks the lean-ness of the LSN by making it seem rich at WOT. Set the LSN flush with the housing, and the same on the HSN. Those are generally good places to start.

check for air leaks as well. if your set way rich and still running hot, air is getting in somewere.

but what did you fix?? someone may have the same problem you did and they could read this thread and get advice from your experience.

Just the tuning got way out of wack, plus the return line wasn't on.
