Can somone give me an idea on fixing a body on a T-Maxx...its my friends and he kinda got a couple of rips in it and we were wondering how to repair it...

there not much...only a few small rips...

and also...on the area around the little plastic pieces that stick out to hold the body on with the pins is also ripped out...so when we put the pins in (only in the back) the body can just come right off because the hole is too big...

i was thinking bondo or epoxy...what do you guys think???

thanks for any help!

well first off welcome to RCNT Iam in bellingham WA.

Ok first drill a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it from cracking more then you can try some shoe goo that will last awhile and it will flex with the body

Yup, Shoo Goo. Kmart, Walmart, and most hardware stores. Even in some grocery stores on the gadget rack.
Take a piece of scrap lexan or even window screen and shoe goo it on the inside of the body. Same thing with the post holes. Scrap lexan (even a piece from a blister pack) drill a hole for the post, and glue it to the inside.
Super glue and epoxy cure way too hard, and are brittle on impact. Shoo Goo stays flexible. I even put a smear in tight corners of new bodies to strengthen them at weak points after the paint has cured.
Someone even started a rumor that you can repair shoes with this stuff, but I don't know if that's true.
