I am having a few problems with my nitro sport .15. Its only a year old, and i have not had any major crashes.:\

the first one is when i start it for the first time of the day, takes a very long time for the fuel to reach the carb.

the second one is overheating, il be doing some high speed runs, trying to keep the engine cool with lots of air flow, and sometimes it dies.

the third one is, once its overheated, the engine wont suck any fuel at all, fuel climbs 1/3rd of the way, and falls back down. (this gets realy irritating)

the last problem is when the engine is running, and i lift the back end, the wheels spin, and its not the idle, because I've already lowered it a bit.

any help is needed

thanx

Are you priming? If not, cover the exhaust and then use the ezstart, this will create extra back pressure. Uncover once fuel reaches the carb. I also like to set high idle on the remote until I get it running.

Here's Some Info I posted in another thread today.
the pro .15 tends to run hot at peak performance, Traxxas recommends staying under 300F. With Factory settings my .15 peak heat was 290F-298F. As well with the stock Nitro sport Body, my .15 would run 30-40 degrees hotter.

I cut the Front window out, cutout roof scoop, and the back window beside the engine.
Keeps the heat down while the case is on.

I also went 1/4 richer then factory setting on the hsp. To keep temps under 275.

If Idle Speed setting is set proper and your engine still revs high, its very possible you have an air leak somewhere. Making your engine run lean. Check exhaust coupler, exhaust header gasket and fuel/air tubing.

Thanks alot, have checked the fuel line, no leaks there, and I'm too inexperienced to check the other parts, unless u can direct me, lol, but i will rather get a expert to check it for.
