Hey whats up every one. I have a big problem and I'm tired of it. I kept blowing both of my gears. Do u think is the Clucth bell needs to be change or what. I know is not rock getting in there because is my fourth gear i change. Please tell what i need to check or what could cause the gears to blow each time i ride it.

Run a piece of paper through the mesh. If it perforates it, it's too tight. If it does nothing but makes dents, it's too loose. The paper should "Almost" be perforated but no holes I have been doing mine for so long that I know what it's supposed to feel like.

If the gears bottom out it's too tight. There should be a little bit of play when you hold the pinion and try to rock the spurs back and forth.

I did the paper and it was good. But what i notice when i move the car backward it makes the striping noise. And is hard to roll backward. But when i push the car fordward it normal nice and smoth. Also i have the 18 cv r engine. Just leting u know if that could help.
