It is the same as the Duratrax Maximum st but in the U.K. and other markets it is Great Vigor brand, And also in Australia.

G.v. Models is what I have seen it listed under in Australia

Is this a cheaper copy of one of the good branded models?
How old/rare is this, do you think its worth a restore?

Its been around 20 years discontinued. Your version is much rarer especially, as it was not marketed here in the states.

I have one I have been gathering parts as I found them for sale and or had the extra funds. I have almost every part now either new or like new other than body, wheels, tires, and other small bits. Would you consider parting with yours? If the price is fair after shipping costs to the u.s. I am very interested

Do you think their asking price is too much?
More than fair, I gave 150 USD for one missing remote, body, and more.

I would lay down $100 on the counter for it and if the shop worker just won't budge from $120, buy it still. What are your plans for it? If you are going to keep it and go through it to get it ready to run, then I strongly urge you to buy it, as the value is there. However, If you were planning for a quick profit reselling, I would pass.

Was thinking of getting rid of that radio gear right away? Haha

It would be for my collection, but probably resold at some stage to make room for other projects.
I think this car would have quite a value down here, due to how popular Holden used to be, and now is discontinued.
I will most likely go and have a look at it, see that the engine is not dead...etc. Then prob buy it, if not sold by then.

If possible, can you take clear close up pics of all sides of the box for me? It would greatly help me with my research on these models
