i have been having problems with my lst slipping into a neutral state. i tightined the slipper clutch nut and cleaned the pads. when it gets a little hot from running is when it will start slipping. the tranny gears look ok. any advice. i have new slipper pads on the way. just wondering if anyone knows of any other faulty parts. thanks

Check your 1st gear one-way bearing. It either needs cleaning, or replacing. If it runs fine when cold but starts slipping when warm, then that's it.

i took it all apart finally and sure enough ball bearings fell out and the one way bearing was seased up. one is now on order. thank you for the good advice

I had that happen to me after one year. It just seemed so familiar. :)
