Do you have a link to them on the web?

Usually you have to pull a bulk off the front and back to get the diff's out. Once those are out, you can get at the axles to replace them. Just make sure to take note on which diff went where and what it's orientation was. Top on top and bottom on bottom.

Get the diffs in backwards, and the truck is in permenent reverse. Or the fronts roll one way, while the rear goes the other.

I've done both. I need to quit working on this thing at 2am.

hey olds thanks alot...i took one diff out at a time and marked it which side was which before i did anything else..the cvds came w/o instructions. I had to go to the Mip website to figure out how to put in rdlogic cvds didnt see anything on that website. just kinda jumped right in and started installing em. Now if this damn snow ever stops and we get back to real temps here in Ct i can try and play to see if i did it right...(it rolls so i guess we are good) Yea workin on the truck at 2am is no fun cause you wake upin the am and go wtf happened here??? then ya gotta fix it all over again.

To do a final prestarting check, pull the rip cord on the engine so you can figure out which way the drive train should spin and just follow it through to make sure the engine rotation matches forward motion.

I'm in the same boat with the temps. Its 10 degrees here with a high of 16. I'm still tempted to go out, but afraid. I spent all week preparing for this weekend. Fixing this and that, tweaking here and there. I get home from work around 8 every damn night, mess with the truck for an hour or so and now it's friggin cold out.

Figures. Guess i'll just have to download movies and watch other people have a good time.

yea same here...we had a wicked bad cold spell...broke records and everything ....5-10 below and wind chills 15-25 below for a few days and now heat wave...33 and snowing like bitch...but he thats new england right?...

33? That's plenty warm. I don't like messing around if it's below 20 though.

Norther IL is the same. One day 50 and sunny, next day 5 below. Figures. It was nice friday. I was all geared up to go out and hammer, then i checked the weather channel... stupid winter.
