ok i got a tmaxx 3.3 and yesterday it ran fine for close to half a gallon. when i was done i did all the proper after run stuff. now today when i went to take it out it will not start at all. it sounds like it wants to start but almost like my tune got messed with in a vary bad way. any ideas thanks Rayn

If this was a brand new rig and the break-in process was part of your 1/2 gallon, more than likely your plug is fouled and you need a new one.

They come from the factory with the needles set pretty rich which is great for breaking in the engine, but bad on the plug.

Try priming it by holding your finger over the exhaust while trying to start it for 2seconds and keep trying, check the EZ Start if the glow plug is fouled and replace.

Try using a glow plug ingitor, that glow plug wire that the ez start uses is junk and may not be heating the glow plug properly

Sorry not to hijack, but does using the glow plug igniter really work a lot better, and what do you do once it's started, plug the wire back on,or no? Just curious, I've never used one?

Some people take the wire off the truck entirely and just use the igniter stick instead. But if you dont wana remove it, you can use the stick igniter and just tuck the wire away, there is no current going through it unless the e-z-start is plugged in and the button is pressed. So make sure when u use ur e-z-starter, u dont have the glow plug wire grounded, just put a piece of electrical tape on it and tuck it outa the way.

Save yourself a ton of grief and ditch the blue wire in favor of a separate ignitor.
