hey guys i purchased the complete set of rpm a-rms and seam to get the ball joint into place its hard as sh@% is there a special tool requriedto set it in or is there something I'm jst doing wrong any help would be greatly appreciated! thank in advance...

hmm there is a tool that is used to take the stopper out or you can use a allen wrench to take it out of the axel carrier. i think this is what you are talking about

You just need to thread them in there. If your using a alen wrench that came with the truck and its starting to hurt your hand you can slip a pice of fule tubing over it to provide more grip and comfort. Keep at it youll get it.

that great cross tool with the funky teeth on it will take it out.

also...a number 5 allen wrench will get that those things out (although... you don't have to take them out at all...)

there are no threads inside the A-arms, so you'll have to do it from scratch. i didn't have any problems with either set of mine. you can keep the pivot balls inside their carriers to do it... simplifies stuff, i feel. you just have to push hard to get the threads started. just make sure that you're going in straight... that's always a good thing. =)

Like everyone has said.. it just takes some time and patience. Since there are no threads in the Arms to start with. I find it works to put a bit of grease on the end of the pivotball... it just makes it easier to thread on. You will get it.

thanks for the all the help guys i finaly got it out with a little bit of patience!!! thanks
