hey guys i was just out bashing my maxx and on my up the driveway and it a small dip not much just move the suspension and when it when down it just shut off i tried to start it again the motor wont turn at all. i checked the driveline everything thats fine just the motor act like its locked i can turn back but then it wont crank

well i figured it out the connecting rod broke! this is bullshit i dont even have a half gallon of fuel thru it yet
 
I had three gallons on mine when the connecting rod blew so don't feel bad. Stupid suggestion, Make sure its not flooded.
 
O sorry i misread your post above mine, i thought it said i FIGURE not i FIGURED out out lol. Email traxxas or call them.
 
i called them and they said i could mail it to them and they would send me a new one or i could try to take it to my hobbyshop and see if they will swap it out for me
 
yeah do that they wanted to me to send mine in to see if it was elligable for a free new 1, but i just did the ERP
 
yea hopefully my LHS will swap it out. I'm buying my nephew a stampede this weekend and we were going to go to the local track
 
Awesome man, everyone i talk to told me traxxas has Thee best customer service out there.
 
yea the two times I've talked to them they were great. i bought my maxx nov. 21st ill be damned if I'm gonna pay for a new one. i havent even put a gallon of gas thru it. not even a half gallon yet
 
my nephew doesn't know yet but yea i decided on the pede' b/c of the ground clearance because we drive on mostly grass at my house

Oh thats sexy! lol. A broken rod is never fun, but I also suggest not running too much in grass, because it really can be detrimental to the health of the engine and transmission.
