I'm new to rc trucks,i just bought a new tmaxx 3.3 and I'm already experiencing some broken parts.....wheelie bar @ 8 tanks of fuel,spur gear @ 9 tanks of fuel,and a leaking fuel tank @ 11 tanks of fuel....should i expect this kind of damage to continue?
 
In a word YES.

Your bulkheads should be next.

Welcome to the world of the money pit known as a Tmaxx. I have had several over the years, still have two. As parts break, just replace them with better aftermarket parts and eventually you will have a nice strong truck.
 
what are the best kind of aftermarket parts to buy for the tmaxx,I've already been looking at rpm parts, any comments on that brand?

I have RPM shock towers and arms, and Traxxas big bore shocks. The only thing I ever break is hinge pins. I'm actually pretty impressed with the durability of the Maxx.
 
i actually did some more research on integy they use 7075 aluminum which is some darn good aluminum ya jus gotta be careful which parts of them you use, no shocks no arms but i jus put a set of bulk heads on last night cause i got em for free and then today i bashed the crap out of mine and no problems what so ever! so I'm pleased with that part by them actually but yeah like everyone else said rpm arms all the way! everything breaks but they will last a good while of bashing before they do if they do!
 
I think you know what you are doing, I have been using their stuff for a while with no problem and I bash hard with no mercy lol. But then I also don't convert everything into aluminum, you must leave some parts on your truck plastic because they are soft and give. They can absorb some of the impact during a hard crash. A common problem is people put all kinds aluminum parts in wrong places, you apparently cannot build a full aluminum custom show truck and expect it to survive jumping off the roof.
