Just wondering how to cool the engine properly. I run it around my yard about 4-5 times and i do the spit test and it burns off in like a second...but if i make it more rich on the lsn it won't stay running? boggs? How do i drop the temp??

first of all go buy a temp gun or a build in temp meter. this way you can check the temp with more accuracy. the temps should be around 220 up till 260.

if ya tune your engine correct the temp wil be between 220f and 260f.
if its going past 260 then its to lean.

yesterday i ran my engine between these temps. i switched from "Farenheid to Celcius. and the temp was 110. so i quess when i should of spit on that. it wil disapear right away also. dont know this for sure cause i never did it. but it should disapear when temps are over 100.

It's mainly the HSN that you should richen to cool it down. Adjusting the LSN only affects it to half throttle.
If you are running in grass, it works harder and will heat up more than running on pavement or a track.

Maybe the 98 degree heat down here in southern texas has something to due with it...i think when i boggs from being to rich thats about as cooled down it will get.

Also, be aware of the humidity. 98 degrees isn't to bad on it, but 80% humidity @70 degrees or more will kill it.

Just something I noticed this horrible humid summer.
