Headlights for Stampede 4x4

Hi all, I'm learning to drive fairly quick. What a stress relief. I have been looking at light kits. Does anybody know if the Traxxas 9095 kit is a direct fit on my Stampede 4x4?

Instructions are in the support section. Says stampede 4x4 so it should be a direct fitting.

I am now so confused. I reached out to a dealer today and asked if the 9095 was a fit for my Stampede. His answer was no. Has anybody installed the 9095 on there Stampede? was it a direct swap?

Light kit on Traxxas site

I highly recommend checking out the Traxxas Parts Finder on their website. It allows you to narrow it down to only things that fit your truck.

I'm not sure why they told you it wouldn't fit. Sometimes the staff at the hobby shops don't have an intimate knowledge of all segments of the hobby.

Either one is compatible but the new one is more work to install.
