I run a Savage 4.6 and thinking about putting a header tank in (like on the heli) to help with 1/2 tank lean issue and help to run upside down longer too. Now I fill in only half the tank but that's too short of a run time. Does anyone try this? And how can I fill in the header tank without flooding the carburator?

Thanks all!

Thank you, Monkey Wrench! I trace your link and it's whole lot of info. for half a day reading. It's super info. I'll give it a try when I have more time. Over here, they don't carry alot of those accessories, but I see what I can do.

It's not a very complex thing. I'm not sure where you're at, but if you can buy a Savage, certainly you can buy a Bic pen and some fuel tubing, can't you? You don't need the one-way valve and some folks end up taking it out.

It's a lot simpler and cheaper than trying to mount a header tank.
