100% that "Power Module" is the biggest reason why I dont REALLLLY want a 223S. Other than that Arrma 3S is tops IMO.
The Arrma 3s and 4s lineup is pretty garbage, compared to other 3s RTR brands, unless they dropped the price. Our Granite won't make it through a battery without something going wrong, just driving through a field.

Welcome to one of the dumbest designs in RC. Horizon is proud of that design. Why they didn't just make that module bolt in is beyond me. They could have just added a couple more screws and it would have been fine, instead of those stupid rails. Dirt gets in there and you gotta damn near destroy the thing to get it apart.
I got really mad at that stupid guard. The motor came out easy. But that guard fiddlesticks that thing.

On our Granite, the first time I tried getting that module out was after a mud bath. It DID NOT want to slide out, even though I cleaned the truck with a bath in the shower. I ended up damaging the plastic before it came out. I was ready to just break the Granite apart, remove the electronics and any useable part, and toss the rest in the garbage. With that kit, I was done buying Arrma. That's precicely when I joined here, so I didn't get into arguements with those guys on the Arrma forum complaining about that POS. Plastic chassis RC's - pffft! Who needs em!

It is absolute garbage man I broke mine too where that little circle is. I really regret buying this car. With the money I put into it I should of got the 6s 😵‍💫

After my Senton I moved on to the Arrma 6s lineup. Much better. Now-my Infraction 3s has been golden. On road, so it doesn't get muddy or tear up. It's 4 years old & completely stock still & I've hammered that thing.

Yea the on-road 3S rigs are real nice.

223S solved all the problems I had in my Typhon 3S.

See? THIS is what I'm talking about. This forum is an open place to share ideas. Even when they're totally wrong like this one is. 🤣🤣🤣
I KID!!!
The forum IS GREAT... and I agree entirely with the sadness over my 3s Granite.
I'm set with HH I think.
They did a crap job with this thing and no signs of fixing it.
Even if they did, Gorgon has been great in stock form, Granite in stock form is a rolling turd. 50% is a failing grade.
If I go bigger, I'll be going Tekno.
