Hello all , *waves* nice to meet you.

I am new to the RC scene and have recently moved from the mountains to sea level. I have been trying to retune my LST2 and well have failed miserably. I had to adjust for brake wear, with that it seems to have thrown my idle waaay off. I am trying to richen the mixture but it just doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions would be great.

Just a little more info.

When I get it started it winds up fast ! then dies but something internal keeps spinning / moving for about 5 seconds longer.

I had it running but was bogging out when any throttle was applied. Also I have the idle on the controller set way down to try and compensate for the overrevving.

I am almost at the point of taking it to a shop to get them to set it .... (admitting defeat is something I don't want to do )

Thanks in advance for your time

Thanks for the info , will give it a shot tomorrow or the next day. Will definately keep you posted on the results. I can tell that Nitros are definately a labour of love to get the running at peak performace. If you happen to know of any good books to buy on them let me know. Looking to learn alot more about them since I am new to the sport.

Thanks again for the link and info. I am sure it will help out alot

nice to see some patience and appreciation for a change. Stick around Lysayn, this a great community :thumbup:

Take your time, and just absorb the info and make note of what changes when you make adjustments.
Check your local hobby shop's magazine rack. There's usually a specialty mag all about nitro engines. Tuning, rebuilding, troubleshooting, etc.
If you have the slightest problem when you start working on yours, post back here, and we'll keep up with your thread.

Yeah, like Rolex said.. pay attention to the details. It's soooo important when trying to tune a nitro engine. Every little thing helps a lot!
