Get your mind out of the gutter it's not what you think LOL. It's been 8 days sense the carb crapped out on the maxx so no nitro action for me, I feel like a crack head in rehab. Good thing I bought my son a stampede. When he is at school I drive his a couple times a day and it helps to ease the pain.

Lmao I'm in the same boat crashed my Maxx and rebuilding it, Lucky for me my son has a E-Rustler thats what I use to get by.

getting a kit will cure your problems. LOL I get that when the weather is wet.

hmmm two maxx's broken and the owners going through nitro withdrawls... my SAVAGE has been going strong? hmmmmmmmmmm.... lol just busten yer guys' chops

I am in the same boat....2 nitro vehicles and both motors blown been out for about 2 months. just got a motor for the buggy and now i got to get a starter box. not doing well right now. can't control the shaking anymore

LOL if I had the money I would get a Savage. I got the Maxx for 100 bucks on ebay if you can fine a Savage for that price let me know hehe. I know now why I got it so cheap lmao! It breaks a lot but its a fun truck to drive. The E-Ruslter on the other hand never breaks and is alway ready to go bashing, I have done some insane things with it and only broke once or twice :)

New carb just came in!!! I hope I have time to run it today. My son has a baseball game this afternoon.

Almost forgot I had a savage for a few months but sold it to get a Maxx LOL and I don't regret it at all.

Poor savage, get's replaced by a maxx, that's just sad to read.

hey don't dog 'I'm, I got rid of my savage for a maxx. Too many tedious yet expensive parts. T-Maxx is much more simple to work on. So, good move. You'll be happy with it. Just do a few minor upgrades to it and you're good to go. (engine mount, bulk heads, ect.)

I do like my maxx but don't see the need to do all the up grades. I had a T Maxx with aluminum bulks, arms, shock towers, and it still got trashed in a hard crash. The plastic is lighter and cheaper. Shocks or worth upgrading. This is just my opinion and doesn't mean much to anyone but me LOL.
