The sun is out here in North Idaho, temps in the 50's. Going to fire up the rig today and do another leg of the 2ndstage and start 3rd stage break-in process. The weather has been terrrible here, cold and rainy so I have been doing the break-in process in stages (ran about month and a 1/2 ago); truck has been stored in my home at BDC. With that being said, any comments on whether it is OK to do a break-in in stages like this?

No problem at all. Proper heat up and proper cool down is what's required. How much time between cycles doesn't matter.

There's a funny yellow glow outside, here too. 63 degrees.

Reverse module..

Just ran the truck for two of the six 3rd stage breakin runs, then truck would just rev no movement. I was looking and found that my reverse module wouldn't move, so I disassembled it; and found that the teeth on quite a few of the gears were extremely worn. I have had this reverse in this truck for two to three years, and stuff breaks and wears out. So, don't take this in a negative thought about reverse modules. New one is already purchased for$34.00 on ebay, the reverse is well worth the investment(In my opinion).

We will have 70's today in central IL, but then it goes back to low 50's and rain....
Man I have a serious itch, ( that even ajax can't scrub off! LOL), to get out in some sun!

Supposed to be high 70's here the next two days, and my parts aren't here yet, it's killing me. I REALLY want to go ride, but can't till after April 15th. :\

Just got my new reverse module, but before I put it in I will be getting new bearings for the tranny; since it is out right. Other than that not much else to post on this thresd today, later.
