I have a new .16 motor that is extremely hard to pull. When I pull the starter it want sto pull back, I have to move the trans gear to loosen the compression in order to pull the starter. can anyone help

Loosen the glo plug enough to let off some compression when you start it. As soon as it starts, turn it in with the ignitor, then wrench it snug. It will get better as it breaks in.

If you have an outlet near where your breaking it in, you can heat the engine with a hair drier until it's around 80F as well. That and loosening the glow plug will help you get it going for the first quart of fuel or so.

Heat it to 150F, most hair dryers will go that high.

Thanks to al of you that responded to my question. Your recommendations were al helpful and I am now running. This is my first experience and I have to say I am impressed. Thanks again and I hope to talk in here again.
