has anyone ever delt with them? if not dont their service sucks big balls!!!!!!!!! i placed a order their and spent $30 for next day air and it didnt even get sent out for 13 days, and then they tried to tell me ups screwed up! my ass is that why i called every day trying to get a tracking # but for some reason they couldnt give it to me. o well i got $30 worth of free stuff for it but their service sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:flaming:

I would have to agree with you. I ordered my Menace from them and when it didn't come when it was supposed to, I called to get the tracking number. They could not even tell me if it had shipped. So and so is on vacation was the excuse. 1 week later I get a notice that the truck had shipped. Great, I called to get the tracking number because they didn't give one with the notice and guess what. They could not give me one.

I have never delt with them before . NowI know I never will, that is not the way to treat a paying customer

Menaces are on MEGA backorder. When we at Schumacher USA get a shipment we fill orders based on when dealers placed their orders. At this moment Harco has a huge order of Menaces with us that they have been waiting on for 2 weeks. they are first on the list and they will get ARTR shipped today and RTR shipped on Monday.

The delay in shipping is not a Harco problem its a demand for a new product problem.

We are still getting orders faster than Schumacher UK can get us cars but we should be caught up by the end of Dec.

AdrianM,

Thanks for the info.

We are glad to have you as a member of RCNT. If there is anything we can do for you guys let us know. We will be happy to post any news releases or info you can provide us with.

Please enable your PM or forward me your e-mail address.

Thanks for the update Adrian. BUT the bigger issue is that if they know they are on backorder this should be made clear to the buyer BEFORE they buy the item. Then if the buyer then selects next day air it MUST BE DISCLOSED that the item "will" ship next day air but NOT until they get them from their distributors....

If Harco had done that i dont think these guys would have been miffed.

Gibson, Arent you the one who sent a money order that took over a week to arrive? Lets be truthful here, I admit to a three day delay. I shipped THREE days after reciept of payment and I felt so bad that I credited you a high speed clutch for free! Thats an extra $30! We do not sell enough XTR-3E`s anymore to keep them in stock, so we had to order for you. After our conversation you seemed to understand. We strive to keep our customers happy and will do everything in our power to make things right. Have fun!

As far as waiting for Menaces, our site clearly stated `RESERVE` your truck. This means that you are getting one from the next shipment. The three week wait was for those of you who purchased three weeks before the first trucks even hit this country! How is this Harco`s fault. We do our best for our customers. 98% of the time we ship THE SAME DAY! (obviously if order is placed before 3pm) We are not allowed to advertise a cheaper price so we give you a $30 nitro starter pack for one penny! Who else does that? When a customer contacts US with a problem instead of posting the complaint in a forum, we try our best to make things right. The only time we had a problem with tracking was when we moved the 1,200 square feet of product and store 1,600 miles over one week. Surely you can understand the gravity of that project. Please keep in mind that Harco is run by hobbyists, not some corperation. We are only human like you, we just love this stuff enough to take our money and time and try to give you a place to buy at a great price and get help and info that you need. We also are learning that you can't please everyone all the time.

Yeah I ordered my Menace from you which was a pre-order but that was not my issue.

I saw on your site an update that stated the Blue RTR's had shipped. Well I ordered a Blue RTR well over a month before you received them so I assumed it had shipped. After a week I called you to get the tracking number since it had not arrived. The person who answered the phone could not give me a tracking number and when I asked if he could at least tell me if it had shipped, he could not. No explanation why he couldn't. It did not make me feel good about my $500 I had paid which was paid the day I ordered via PayPal. It took another 2 weeks before I finally got it.

As written above: "The only time we had a problem with tracking was when we moved the 1,200 square feet of product and store 1,600 miles over one week. Surely you can understand the gravity of that project." You obviously ordered AFTER the first batch had been sold, hence the one month wait. We stated the status on the site the whole time. Once the first batch was all reserved the site said that we are now accepting per-orders for the NEXT shipment. I am sorry if we did not make it clear or LARGE enough on the site. I dont understand the problem. We were of the first to have them, when we do not have them, no one else has them either. We got you a truck out of the first shipments along with $30 of FREE stuff right? What more can we do?

My problem was NOT when I received the truck.

My problem was the fact that when I called, I could not get any information on my order. For all I knew the order did not exist. I could have waited another month for all I care. I just wanted to make sure my order was placed. Surely this was not too much too ask. Keep in mind that when I placed the order and paid via PayPal. I never got an order confirmation from Harco or an order number which would have been helpful.

Oh come on, everyone knows that Paypal sends reciept and confirmation number. Just look at your Paypal account. If you supplied us with a name, an email address or the paypal transaction number, we would have all the info you have. Did you get the point that you may have called when the store was in a big truck moving 1,600 miles? I am curious why you did not contact us and ask us to do something for you, that would have helped you out far more than complaining in a forum.

I'm going to but in and give my 2 cents worth.

I am a small business owner that deals with mail order on a daily basis. We have found that in most cases intentions are good on both sides but communication between the two parties in some cases seems to hit a road block or gets off kilter this causes issues.

Dealing with an issue like this take an understanding from both parties that all meant well. In this case the both parties seem to have filled their obligation to each other which is the first priority.

For both the buyer and the seller:
May both of you learn a lesson and improve your communication skills to keep this from being an issue in the future.

Its not the buyers fault that the seller moved. Its not the sellers fault that the buyer didn't supply the proper info. Could this have been avoided? To late now.

Sometimes things don't go as planned for both parties. A little understanding from the buyer would be nice and from the seller not to mention the 30.00 in free product that was given, an assurance to everyone that you will look into the breakdown to see if you can keep it from happening again.

IMO,

-Ed

I think you guys need to give harco a break, sounds like he is doing the best he can. Mistakes happen and things don't always ship as fast as we want. It is the fact that he took care of it by giving you a product to replace to money you were out shipping. That's sounds great to me. If only half of the RC companies out there took care of a customer in some way after a problem happens the industry would be so much better for it. I didn't even know of harco and I am looking for something to buy from you now. Take it as good advertisment, you showed you cared, tried to make good on it. You are right you cannot make everyone happy.

My attorney once told me it doesn't matter what people say about you just make sure they get your web address correct. :whack:

Well said as usual Ed.

Harco, I have gone back and edited my previous post regarding your service. I have left only the facts as I perceived them. I got the truck, I am happy with it, case closed on my part.
