HAPPY 2023 HALLOWEEN!! Let's so your Pumpkins!

We did some burgers and dogs on the grill while carvin' pumpkins the other night. I did the ghosts, my son did some weird thing and my crafty daughter did the pumpkin throwin' up. Wifey never finished hers.

Of course it's been in the high 70s/low 80s this week and mine "melted".

The Arrma Forum one I did last year.

(Don't mind my son's stoopid facial expression. He always has to do something like that when I take a pic. Kids.....)

We haven't carved a pumpkin in years, it's too hot to leave them on the porch, they get pretty disgusting pretty quick in the heat.

I haven't carved pumpkins since the kids moved on. Long time ago.
Now I get them from the grandkids and take them to the rifle range.
A .220 Swift does wonders on them.

Our indoor pistol range used to put on a pumpkin shoot on Halloween. Feel sorry for the guy who had to clean that up.

Do you fill them with water first? Makes them pretty explody. Don't have a 220 swift, but I'm sure the effect is similar to a 22-250. Love those little hot rod rounds. We use to buy out all the pumpkin patch pumpkins after Halloween just for targets. Half a pound of tannerite in random ones made things interesting.

Haven't carved one in few years and unfortunately no pictures, but we use to get pretty creative with them. I'm currently growing this one. It won't be ready in time though. I started it to late.

Yes and I also have a .22-250 , I shoot it more than any of my rifles.
I a lot of high powered, flat shooting calibers in from .17 on up.
These are a kick in the arse to shoot also.

I have a few flat shooters. I always wanted a 17 hornet or Fireball. I even have the dies for the Hornet. Need to form some brass though from my 22 hornet.

Halloween
I'll fill the bowel with candy, turn the porch light on, let the rottweiler out, and gorge myself with candy. It's the best day of the year.

I have a few flat shooters. I always wanted a 17 hornet or Fireball. I even have the dies for the Hornet. Need to form some brass though from my 22 hornet.

The wife shoots a .22 Hornet, awesome little gun.
