Me and my 16/17 yr old friends went out trick or treating for awhile after getting free starbucks, and after getting dissed by people about how we were too old, we went to see Saw 3 and it was awesome!!!

Our Halloween just ended. In my household, Halloween is almost bigger than Christmas. We do up the house in a huge way. It takes the day to set up (today I started at around 0800 and finished fifteen minutes before the first trick-or-treaters showed up). My entire family gets costumed up. I roam the yard scaring the kiddies before they get to the door. My wife scares them at the door where they get both a trick (the big scare) and the treats...tons of candy.

This year my sister-in-law and her boyfriend helped out. They took our daughters around trick-or-treating and then joined in the fun of scaring the neighborhood kids. My sister-in-law wins the scare prize. Without doing anything more than turning her head to look at the trick-or-treaters, she sent a pack of about ten kids screaming from my porch, yard, and then court. It took a great deal of coaxing from their parents before they would come back and get their candy.

The following links show me and my house...(WARNING PICS ARE HUGE...haven't had a chance to RCNT-size them)...

A shot of one failed trick-or-treater and the home-made coffin (made four of the coffins this past weekend) that I stuffed the body into...
Failed trick-or-treat
Coffin

We broke this all down after trick-or-treat stopped (at 2000). The house went back to normal look by 2230. You'd never know that all of this stuff was there...if you didn't have eyes on or a picture. In fact we had people that just lived in the neighborhood come by and take a picture or two. One fellow was told about our house by his grand-daughter...came to see it for himself and took some pictures. He returned about five minutes after he left with his wife...she just couldn't believe what she was told about our spooky house.

I had a grand total of 16 kids this evening. Lazy buggers don't like walking up the hill and the houses are too far apart. Not enough reward for the effort I suppose.

I didn't even get the van loads of drop-offs I normally get. They must have all gotten deported.
But do you still have the porto-potty in the front yard? That was like super bonus!

Awesome setup you have there Skymaxx! The smokey graveyard looks especially spooky.

man that was lookin SWEET! i just scared people by busting up in there house with a chainsaw running.

Great Setup Sky!

That was sweet. I wish sometimes that I still lived in a neighborhood. I used to go all out for halloween too... not as wonderful a job as you were able to do, but I had fun. I can't wait to see what you would do for Christmas!

It's gonna be National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation all over again.

Christmas is plain Jane around here. White icicle lights on the rain gutters, white lights in the bushes...and a giant fake spruce indoors. Halloween is our all out holiday.
