Thanks to WoodiE (The Proud Mother) and all the users, we did what many said couldn't be done.

Congratulations to RCNT and all its members for making this the best RC forum around.

I'm going to dig through the old threads and send e-mails to all the non believers that said we would never survive. :loser:

-Ed

And they said we'd never amount to anything.

Well I still haven't amounted to anything, but RCNT is the best RC forum on the net. Hands down (my pants).

It has only been a year, yet RCNT has banned a few members, produced some good members who started out as idiots, spawned some clones (who might not make it), and made my work day a little more interesting for the last year.

Someone get me a tissue

It has been interesting. Doesn't seem like a full year has passed already. So many stories for such a small family. The infamous 800 club. The Bat Cave. The Great Engine Conspiracy. Characters like Niffken, X_789, Mule Meat and others. RobH's thunderous initiation into RCNT on the heels of a blistering anti-war commentary. Ohhhh so many others. I can still smell the burning flesh of some of them.
But on the other hand, perhaps one of the closest knit group of people I have ever known. People who I don't even know their names or what they look like. People I wouldn't know even if I spit on them. But friends just the same.

Happy Birthday RCNT! And here's to many more great years...

I havent been hear for the full year, but its been great watchin da community grow and become the BEST rc forum on da net (IMO). Such good info and help, Heres to many more years to come:cheers:

Wow. Has it been one year already? Thanks WoodiE for creating the best RC site on the net.

Yeah Woodie, great job! I deleted all the bookmarks to all the :loser: sites that I had before joining here (wont mention any names, cough cought b****dRC, sorry something was in my throat. Keep up the awesome job!!!

I guess I lucked out. After I bought my fire-breather I did a google search on \+ "nitro" + "forum" + "t-maxx"\ to find a good forum. Guess what? The best place is listed first.

(Traxxas' is second!) :ha: :ha: :ha:

Way to go WoodiE!

 Happy Anniversary/Birthday RCNT:party:
This is by far the best RC Fourm on the whole internet. I've been looking around and some fourms with about 8 years under their belt arent even as good as this site. What makes this site great is our personality. Kwongs I Own All attitude, Sky's Kill all spammers attitude:hehe: stuff like that makes this fourm such an interesting place. I pity the people on the traxxas fourms.

ON a last note, this site is soo great, I sign up to crappy fourms just to post links and refer people to RCNT.:breakdown

I think this is a very great site. I always find ways to improve the performance of my T-maxx here , on this board. Thank you Woodie and fellow members for a great year and many more to come.

And I even offer my wife up!!! WTF!

Happy Birthday RCNT! WAYYYYYYY TO GO!

Again, thank you to all the awesome members here! Without the members, we wouldnt be anything except a thought! You guys (and gals) are what makes it work more than anything!

Woodie - will you marry me? :flamer:

Happy :hbd: RCNT! Since I've been on here and can't go with out a day without being on this forum. It has helped me agreat deal and hopefully I have helped others. Thanx RCNT

Wow. Has it been a year? It seems just like yesterday that I was beating the pulp out of Matts6887. Seems like the day before and after that I continued to beat the pulp out of him.

Who could forget the 800 club? Only those that never witnessed Niffken's performance.

Who can forget the numerous tag-team flame wars that Hunter, Pirata, and I instigated and destroyed friends and enemies alike.

X, who? Just kidding. X, MuleMeat, Niffken, FLAT TOP, and all the guys who left on there own or were told to not let the door hit them in the ass on the way out added a different flavor to the sight during their sometimes brief stays.

Yes, the site has gone through some changes. Yes, the site continues to grow. Yes, the personalities on the site have changed over time. BUT the one thing that has remained constant...the information. This site has some of the best help available to the hobbyist who chooses nitro as his path.

Here's to a great first year, and to many to come.

Thanks WoodiE.

Damn I was hoping to get 2000 posts befor this.

Before I replied to I wanted to make it official, and it is now 12:00am which means it is now July 24th 2003 - RCNitroTalk.com 1 year birthday.

First I'd like to say thanks to RCNT's moderators, I owe each and every one of you so much. You've helped me in so many ways and even in ways out side of the site and because of this I can never repay you.

NCNitro - RCNT's newest member of the team, and boy ohh boy did you come out like a storm. I'm not sure if there is any other mod that watches the forum as close as you do, it's a shame you can't make it to the August bash, and it would be all my pleasure to meet you in person. Thank you!

M@xximillion - RCNT's inventor, I hate knowing what I know right now and knowing what you are working on. I can't wait to see the reaction of the members and everyone in the R/C hobby as a whole when you decide to come out with your product(s). As like NCNitro, I wish you too could come to the August Bash. None the less thank you!

FastEddy - aka: Arlis; You've given me a lot of insight in the site, always keeping me informed of any problems on the site, weather it be caused by my failure to upload a file correctly or an unruly member. The advice you've given me on the site and life it self. I greatly do appreciate everything you've done. I can't forget Vegas - man ohh man did you see THOSE shoes! I hope we can repeat that trip again some day.

Chris - WOW, what else can I say? Where do I start - you where RCNT's very first moderator. I remember when we first started out I thought you was only in your mid-teens, and now there’s not many days that go by that we don't talk on the phone each day:

Chris: One triple triple please.
Mike: (yelling) NO...NO...NO...it's a setup!

Man there's so many things I could say and then so many I shouldn't say ;) and that trip to New York - All my life I've wanted to visit New York City, and I can honestly say I'm glad we meet up to visit together. I don't think I'll ever forget that trip, the car, the toys on the windshield, the hotel room bashing, and your family...aww man what a trip. I really look forward to the August Bash; it's going to be a blast!

The members - man ohh man, without each and every one of you guys and gals RCNitroTalk would be nothing. No matter how many sites someone makes, no matter how "great" someone makes the site, or anything else...it all comes down to the members, without the members no site amounts to much of anything. You guys have made RCNT what it was, is, and will be. I've gone from someone that used to visit a dozen or so sites a day, to just about only one...RCNT. You guys rule!

There's been so much that has happened since July 24th 2002, you guys have already mentioned a few things, and yet there is so much more. Out of the things that took place here that was already mentioned was the 800 club...man I remember when I first read the start of that club I was ready to fly to CA. and kill Eddy, then after really reading it and talking to him I thought it was a great idea, I still go back from time to time and read all the 800 clubs we had, man those things are funny as hell. Ohh yes, so much has happened, and like many of you have mentioned it doesn't even seem like a year. To me it still feels like yesterday I registered the RCNitroTalk.com name, it’s been the time of my life. There's nothing more I could ask for other then many more years of fun with the best group of members any Admin could ask for...how many Admins can call their members Friends? I know I sure can, and I do. Thanks guys!

To RCNitroTalk

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Congrats on a job well done!
Everything i have learned about RC is because of the great community here. I have those days that I am out and about, and I just come home for 10 min. just to see if there is anything new on here! Not only have I become addicted, but I think I have found a gold mine! Even when I go off to college, and once i get a war department I will still always have RCNT to fall back on!

Thank-You RCNT & most of all Woodie for having such a great idea!!!!!

:hbd: RCNT! Thanks Woodie for having a great site. I haven't been a member here that long, because I was always on the "other" boards. I've learned a lot here since I became a member, actually more than I've ever learned on the "other" boards. I still remember my first post was about the Traxxas showing at RCX.

Now, I just need to contribute my $25 to the site so I get the little extras.

Here's to RCNT
