I agree... who cares about file size, we realize (at least most of us) that it is going to take time to download a file of that size for sure, but man... it would be so worth it. How about posting smaller files of the video broken up into segments... then also have one big ass file available to people that have the connection to download it. That would probibly be the best bet, and make us with good connections VERY happy :) :hehe:

At least we know that this 45 min video is full of action! I would definatly download the 45 min one! Would be amazing to a see a 45 min video!

Yeah dude... if you can, it would be really cool to have it all available... smaller, seperate files along with one big one. That way no matter who you are, there's something for ya'.:mex:

hell, i'd happily download the 45min video if it took a couple days!! before i've downloaded several gigs at one time an dit took me a week, so a couple days ain't bad:jester:

The original plan was to post up the movie in pieces. That would help those with poor connectivity.

I can definitely put up both the full length version along with smaller segments.

Since there has been such a response desiring the full length version, I will make certain it is available. As for content, believe me...this is going to be like a greatest hits flick...all action. The footage that was trimmed out was all non-action. I've whittled it down to nothing but jumps, carnage, and funny poop.

So.....I'll be working on that tonight and through the weekend.

Your Savage will be in it...but it won't look like yours. It ran in the first day loaded with hop-ups. You're getting the stripped version. :D

Stripped!!!! How dare you!!!

I didn't want your stinking hop-ups anyway! ;)

I got my stuff I ordered as back up from tower today. I didn't realize how much beefier the arms and stuff are compared to the t-maxx. No wonder people have a hard time breaking the savage. Or at least a harder time...

You might end up selling those arms, as I have not yet broken an arm. Did you buy spare bulkheads and diff blocks? Those I have broken at least twice (one set stock and one set aluminum).

Yep and yep.

How do the hinge pins hold up? I noticed that the arms build probably deters bending of hinge pins and breakage of arms some since the forward edge has two places capturing the pin as opposed to crapsaz 1.

This was my shopping list:
LXDLC0 HPI Spur Gear 52T Savage 21 2 $7.78
LXFXU6 HPI Flywheel 3 Pin Savage 25 RTR 1 $8.59
LXFXU7 HPI Teflon Clutch Shoe/Spring Set Savage 25 RTR 1 $7.69
LXFPZ4 HPI Heavy Duty Clutch Bell 16T Savage 1 $10.99
LXJK85 Traxxas Ball Bearings 5x10mm (2) 1 $7.69
LXDLC4 HPI Suspension Arm Set Savage 21 1 $11.99
LXDLD0 HPI Skid Plate/Body Mount/Shock Tower Set Savage 21 1 $12.99
LXDLC2 HPI Gearbox Bulkhead Set Savage 21 1 $11.99

Why would the diff blocks break though?

The Gearbox Bulkhead set that you bought contains the block halves. They break from the fact that the lower portion of the shock tower mounts to two tabs attached to the block halves. When the bulkhead and tower goes, the diff block usually goes, too.

That is what happened and why I had to wait for a new set to come in prior to shipping the truck to you.

BTW, good list....and never bent a hinge pin.

Thanks for the explaination. I'm sure I would have realized it on my firt shocktower snappage.

My losi xxx-nt was designed that way. I ripped my gear box in half after I installed a graphite shock tower.

You know if anyone make al gear box halves for the savage? It looks like an annoying piece to replace vs the shock tower.

Found one at dynamite for $50...

There are a couple of places that make aluminum block halves. I just never got around to buying any.

Posting it isn't the problem. It is the download time. Everyone always bitches about the length of my movies at 8-10mins. A 45 minute one would garner me all kinds of hate and discontent.
We don't bitch about the time, we bitch about Mac....

Yeah, quicktime stinks. Anyone know how to get it to save the last settings used? Evertime I play a vid that uses the quick time player, the volume goes to maxx and the window is small.

You can bitch about whatever you like. I'll stick with what I like; you use whatever you like...and we can leave it at that.

As for the movie, my work schedule just put me in the hurt locker. My one hour a night is going away for a little bit as we fly in support of some training.

Don't start that poop up again. Sky, just use a win machine to make a WMV for all the win users. FTP it to me if you need some help converting it.

Work Work Work... man you sound like me. Difference is what you do could probable kill you. Unless my office chair snaps, I'm pretty much safe. Or if my ulcer in conjunction with some hickups or something don't do me in first.

To bad we have to work to make $ to play... How do I get a sponsor for watching tv, playing with RC and surfing the crap out of this forum?

LMAO...I will not lower myself to using a WIN box to produce WMV. What I can do with my software (now) is produce more WIN friendly vids. I can generate AVI and I believe WMV. The problem is the quality of the vid suffers in translation (at least from what I have seen from preliminary runs).

As for the offer of assistance Error, thanks. If I get to that point, I may take you up on the offer, but my new version of Mac software seems to be capable of generating more PC friendly vids. I wouldn't want the Mac haters out there to sprain their wrist from having to download a free viewer or something...so I'll see what I can do.
