I may have cooked the servo for shifting into reverse on my LST2. If this is the case, does anyone know of an alternate replacement th:spit:at is water resistant?

You are better off using plasti dip than trying to look for a water resitant servo.

The servos the new e-maxx are supposed to be water resistant...

You would need to pick up a futaba horn. Those should be strong enough for t/b and reverse, but I don't know if two would be enough for steering the LST around.

A lot of higher end servos are water/dust resistant. They should say dust/water resistant in the description or they more than likely are not.

I like the hitec 985MG as it is water resistant, but @ $70, .13 sec transit and 172oz of torque, it's total overkill for reverse... I use one on my aftershock for t/b though. I'm running a CF brake disk and it requires a little more grunt to work properly.

the new traxxas emaxx is water proof, so maybe look on traxxas for the stock steering servos that come in that truck
