Hello!! Picked up a used rovan Baja, I’m cleaning it up! When I removed the spark plug I can see some gunk on top of the piston! Is there a way to clean it without taking the engine apart?

Thanks!
Best way is to remove the head and clean it. Don't use cheap oil as before.

I've removed the head on one of these with out removing the engine ,it can be done!
The head has to be removed like Monstertruck said ,there is no cleaner that will just remove
it ,if you did ,it will only fall back into the engine an will only scar the cylinder wall of the head ,
that is built up carbon an is very gritty an hard ,it will also be built up around the exhaust port!
In order to clean it ,you will have to remove the head an scrape it out gently ,that is the proper
way!...:thumbs-up:
