Took it out again today and even with no wind I crashed within a minute 🤦🏻‍♂️
Hand launching on 50% power no problem but as soon as it's airborne the wing dips and it heads straight for the ground. CG seems right (about 30% back from leading edge) and it doesn't look bent anywhere so no idea why I can't keep it in the air.
I had no problems flying a real one solo when I was 16 but this is hard!

Time for a newer kit? Hobby Zone has some good deals on 2.4 ghz kits, some arfs are cool for flying. I wouldnt fly a foamy in anything above 6mph, crashing is guarnteed.

Maybe late now but wondering if you tried to put some weight in it to balance/compensate for lighter lipo packs?
I don't fly so its just something I thought might help.

Late reply as the site hasn't been working for me for a few weeks. Added some more weight in the nose (CG around 25% from leading edge) and finally managed to get it to fly! Still managed to break the prop on landing though so I'm now on my only spare and they don't seem to be available any more so I'm reluctant to take it out again.

It sounds like balancing with weight was helpful! I'm glad its working better!
I hope you're able to find another prop so we can hear more about your flights!
Rare parts make me reluctant to run a few of my r/c too.
