Inside one of the dogbone cups on the diff is a screw that holds the internal assembly together. How tight should this screw be? If I'm not mistake you can adjust this screw to achieve LSD action, or tighen it down to be like a solid rear axle. Am I correct on this, or does it need to be tightened all the way down?

with a slipper clutch, u usually want this tightened all the way down, or backed out only 1/8th of a turn.

Am I correct to think that it's there to adjust from an LSD type action to a solid axle?

BTW, thanks for the quick reply.

tightening it down all the way will almost create a solid rear diff. u dont want it completly locked, or u will unload your slipper clutch

what does all this mean I'm a newbie so I'm looking for all the knowledge i can get b 4 i purchase

anybody???
