Sanding drums work well and I have a rough 3mm carbide tip that I use. Just remember, slower is better. I will cut first the inside with lexan scissors and then go in with the drums to finish it off. On very detailed cuts I use the carbide tip.

4-6k RPM's should be plenty. You shouldnt have to force it either, let the tool do the work for you.

Wear a mask as the fine lexan particles can and will make it into your airways and make for an interesting couple of days. Cough up a splash guard lately?

high speed cutters are for metal, I use a diamond cutoff disc, but you can use a regular heavy duty cutoff disc, and then use a sanding drum to finish it and make your edges real nice. When I am done trimming I like to hand sand the edges so they are all nice and smooth. You are gonna find a million uses for it, congrats on the new tool :D

Yea GT mean Gas Truck. AE likes to call every thing rc10 then tack on what it is at the end
RC10T3 = truck 3rd version
RC10GT = gas truck
RC10B3 buggy rd version that is ae's stuff

Now as far as diffrent RC stuff
GT= Gas Truck
MT= Monster Truck
Truggy= Buggy Chassis with Monster wheels and lid aka OFNA
