My storm is an arr, same chassis as the rtr, I used a starter box with it no problem, unless the stock engine has a different height you should be ok with a stater box, Even though I used a OS21rg, I used the stock rtr engine mounts and the flywheel distance was fine.

I just recently purchased this box also. I have yet to set it up. the weather here sucks, but you already know that. Anyway, I can't see any reason it would not work. It is very adjustable and has a good rep for starting those hard to start, very tight fitting, high end race engines. The only prob I see so far, Is how to set it up for the NTC3. Nothing seems to align properly.

When I sold this box to diver, he bought it for his ntc3, at first he had some adjustment trouble with it, you have to be patient setting this box up at first, it can be a little agravating, It has mounting pegs that hold the car in place and with a ntc3 its kind of a tight fit, but once its aligned its works very well, when I used it with my storm I had less trouble setting it up because the larger scale A arms seemed to fit the mounting pegs better, either way its an awsome box! Plenty of power!

Thanks NM. I have plenty of patience as well as time considering there's still a lot of that white poop covering the ground. I bought this box cause it had good feedback from many. I have yet to alter the configurations but if I do have trouble, I'll contact Diver. Thanks for the quick reply. You're always there.

No prob!! I feel for ya man,, I remember the white poop covering the ground very well!, I lived in Chicago almost all my life, this is gonna sound really messed up to you, but it was 67 degrees here in Fla today, and I was cold! Hang in there though, soon it will all melt and you can get out there and start breakin parts again!

I would like to take that lightly, but..............FU...
JK. I've just about had it. The meteorologists say it's suposed to grt colder and snowier towards the end of the month. I can't take it no more.

Hey, you got a room for rent?

I have a few tents (I like to camp out ). Does the beach allow tent camping? I have a vacation coming in March!!!

poop . You like to fish? What are you catching down there? I don' t eat a lot o fish. Mostly catch and release. But, I love fishing. And i'm not sure about leaving her behind as her vacation is schedueled the same as mine. Oh!! how i'de love to leave her here.LOL.... O well, We'll see...

OMG looking at those links makes me miss L.A. in a big way. Ok yeah it's not Florida but it's way more sun than we get up here in the Pacific North west

you make it more and more tempting every time. I still can't leave her behind. That would put me on the .... list foreva. agghhh. Maybe. We'll see...

About starter boxes..

I got an Ofna True-start 1/8th buggy starter box for my Storm RTR. It was $99 at my LHS. It's very nice, it has two motors and runs off a 12v battery. That price didn't include the battery though, but the battery is only like $25 at a battery store.

Anyways so far it's been awesome and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Starting engines with starter boxes just removes the hassle of starting the buggy. It's so easy.
