GS Storm RTR and Lightning RR ... Well I got them both over the last week or two... I must say my son and I love them both!! T-maxx's are gathering dust already.. we are both way way compulsive... Anyway.. I'd love info about the mid-range needle ( this is my first encounter with one).. and wondering why when I turn the LSN all the way in to find where I'm at, and then back it out, why does it cause the throttle to become stuck??? I can turn it out some more and get it loose then carefully turn it back in.. but I dont understand what's locking or binding? would also love to know what the best glow plugs for these cars are? Both these cars scream and get there quick.. but the Storm can almost jump off the ground when I slam the throttle, Very cool to see.... thanks for all the help.... Hard to say enough about this place.. the info here is priceless (literally).. and we should all realize how fortunate we are to have this... hard to believe just a few yrs ago this was not a possibility.. Peace!!!

The mid-range needle moves the spray bar inside the carb. The mid range needle is for experts only. I would not mess with it. Changing the mid range needle will change your lsn setting at the same time.

Did you try screwing the lsn in while holding the throttle down? The LSH seats inside the spray bar. If you crank it down too tight, I could see it binding but I'm not 100% sure that's true. Try doing the same thing while holding the throttle (the lsn will be back way way away from the spray bar).

I've only really had one .21 engine. Mine requires a "long" glow plug this is the only stipulation on mine. It's really engine specific. The Hot Bodies has the same engine as the savage 21. Go into that forum and ask and they should be able to tell you.

Buggies Rock.

i got a lightning ro the other night.. love it, i put my already broken in 21bb from my savage and it kicks butt.. the MSN you do not want to touch, if the LSN is screwed into fat it catches on the MSN and you can actually break the LSN.. so i only do adjustments to the LSN with the throttle slightly opened..

Do not touch the MSN - it is set at the actory for optimum performance.
