this might be a stupid question but for some reason i am unable to get a good ground on my easy start... i have been using my glow stick to start my truck.. anyone have a better ground option other than the side of the motor...thanks

The yellow wire is only for grounding the glow plug.
The starter motor has it's own direct leads.
You are way better off using the ignitor.

yeah thats what i have been doing... just a pain in the ass... looks like ill be buying a smaller ignitor....mine is kinda big

The little AA ones work nice. Work just as well as the NiCAD ones you buy and actually last longer than many nicad sub-c heaters you can buy. At least if you use good rechargable AA NiMH cells.

I have this one and really like it:

More comfortable in your pocket than a sub-c heater.
