Hi everyone...It's quite possible that I suck at the search function and couldn't find a thread on this, but couldn't find anything...anyway, here goes.

Running a 2.5 T-Maxx. As of a few days ago, the truck won't shift properly into forward or reverse. The servo seems to be working properly and moving the pinion back and forth, and the truck will lightly jerk in the direction its supposed to be moving, but won't shift fully into that gear. I took the transmission apart (removed the casing) and no gears appear to be stripped or broken...it seems like it's a problem with the pinion not fully engaging, but I'm pretty newb at this, so I could be totally wrong...could it also be a tuning problem?

Also...would a forward only conversion fix this, since the transmission would be locked into forward?

Thanks in advance!

I hate to be the ass that bumps his thread, but this one's kicking my ass...anybody? I tried turning my idle speed down, which seems to help a tiny tiny bit, but still jerking like it's going out of style...

FIXED!

In this case it was actually the motor mounts - the rear two mount holes were stripped, so the engine was tilting forward when you hit the gas, and I'm thinking the grinding noise was partially from the clutch bell hitting the bottom plate...the bitch is back!
