Looks like someone yanked out the battery box or cut it down or something. The receiver isn't normally out in front like that. Or do you have it out just for the photos? LOL!

If you're looking for a Raptor body check out ProLine or J-Concepts, they both have Raptor lids in various sizes...

Thanks racer. All the credit goes to you, Rolex, and mustang for helping me at every turn as I did a blind nose dive into the shallow water. I'm quite happy and proud of this thing now.

Mustang, I was in the middle of tearing it apart and as I went I took pictures for future reference so i didn't have to tear it up over and over. I will check those out, would love a raptor body, I would finally have an incentive to paint a body (although I still prefer prepainted).

Nice looking lid....something about bright white.
You're off to a great start. A lot of guys take used rigs to a hobby shop where they pay someone else to deal with it.
You're really going to enjoy this hobby since you dove in and did it yourself.
Every fix along the way is another learning experience. Now you're qualified to give someone else advise about brakes. :first_place:

Engine tuned
Shocks repaired
Axle replaced
Wheel hub pin replaced
Brakes fixed
Fuel lines replaced
Steering aligned
And some other stuff I can't remember.

Have you run it yet? It aint done till you do! Take it out and show it no mercy! That's the only way to find if your repairs are gonna hold up!

I ran it at idle for a few minutes last night to be sure i put everything back together right. Then today opened it up on the street and she did good.

Your missing a bronze piston on the end on your brake rod...mine did the same thing just fixed it today......need to buy all new brake parts because tht peaice is sheared off
