I like his stuff, but I would say he is on par with Hirez. I don't see where you would think its worlds better. The are both very talented artists that have different styles but equal skill with an airbrush imo.

Sorry humboldtblazer,
Sorry you mistakenly seem to infer that I said "worlds better" different strokes for different folks. As for the 2 of them they would b hard to beat.

:wtf: go to your local optometrist tomorrow if you think that is better than wilxwerk.com

i will settle this one pritty fast........ wil wertz is @#$%ing awsome, but this guy is his equal.

BOTH can paint and paint extremely WELL!!!!!!! i would take a body from either of them in a second if i wasn't so cheap and broke!!!!!!

all of us are Jelious because a very select number of people can paint like those 2.

Can i get a A-Men.:thankyou:

oh yeah mattie_c ,where's that call on the K3 ?
...as far as painting,, I give it to Charlie B, he's as old as me, been doing it just as long, and he's half as cranky, so I think Charlie wins over all of us, *grin*

lmao you a funny man!]

why get such a nice body... if you are seriously into DRIVING your rc, the body isnt gonna last anyways... so just paint it urself tear it up yourself and then repeat the process. thats how bodies work. not spend 100 on the body and leave it on the shelf...

Most of these painters you are mentioning do this full time now. That means, they are making enough of them to not worry about money. Alot of their customers have 3 or 4 or 8 trucks. Why not have a nice body if your 4th or 5th truck has to sit on the shelf anyway!! More of thier bodies sit in hobby stores as displays or in executives offices, but when you can afford it, why not.

exactly. i was thinkin about getting a custom painted body for my t-maxx that would be just for show, but after a price tag of around $150, i said forget i will do my own.

later

Weird,
I haven't charged more than 75-90 bucks for a body in over a year... including the body..
Unless you're looking for murals all over the car I can't see why it would be that expensive....
Maybe you shouldn't give up so easy on finding someone that will work with your budget.

both the painter do a hell of a job and if you think about the hours it probably takes to paint a body like that the price is not bad at all just not in everybody's budget. I race 1/8 scale and I have a body and chrome wheels and a nice wing that I bring my car to the race with. When I race I change alll of them. Lets me have a nice show body and a race beaten body. Nice paint jobs!!!

Those look sweet!!! i want one only if they were invinceable... cuz id only ruen it...
