any one into sand dragging there nitro truckes? I've been taking my T-maxx to the wash for a while now and if you do it right and watch the temp it's a kick in the pant's

i bash in the pine barren by my beach house and its basicly sand. but i have to check the temps every couple of minutes. i have a savage and cleaning that truck is hell. jk its just that i stripped some screws. have fun and check the bearings.

why would you have to check the engine temps more often when friving on sand?

because the truck is always spinning.. meaning it isnt moving as fast forward.. which means less air over the head which = more heat.. also your wot alot more...

yeah there right heat can be a problem... that's why I run paddel's it pushes the truck foward alot faster and keep's it cooller.I just don't stand on the throttel for verry long and my temp stay's around 240f the 18tm seam's to take the heat realy well.I also run sidewinder 20% it has after run oil in the mix with LC3 hot glow plug so I can run richer for cooling seam's to help
