Took out the three speed trans, put in a two speed, dropped the gearing down to 15/52 and installed aftershock tires/wheels. Should get around pretty good.

Everything is waterproofed and ready to go hit the drifts. Just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit, or at least stablize.

Looks sick man, and the bullet holes are a nice touch!

Get some video if possible, snow bashing videos are fun to watch.

lol! Those were there from the previous owner. I just haven't bought a new body yet. I like this body, but I'd like it to not have the sides cut so high.

Nice, ya i have to buy servo's and then water proof everything, all i want to do is play in the mud and snow lol

these are some kool vids i found of what I'm looking to do once mine is running.

BTW , how are those LST tires working on your Savage ? I tried them on mine but I think the wheels were hitting the suspension arms due to the offset .

Mine are aftershock tires/wheels. My buddy runs muggy wheels/tires on his savage and I didn't notice any clearance issues. He's running homemade stand offs for LST2 shocks though.

As it turns out, most of the snow is gone and all that's left are the hard piles or icy flat areas, so the aftershock tires weren't necessary. I ran for over an hour today. No vids or photo's, since I was alone. I threw on a set of stock savage tires tonight after running and I'll probably run more in the next few days before the piles are gone. Had a blast.

I wrapped tin-foil around the head and once tuned, it ran great the entire time. I ran a bit on the rich side with temps ranging 210-230.

It's been a good while since I ran last. Felt new again.

I thought the chains were a pretty good idea, they looked awesome !
It's kinda hard to run in the snow here !:hehe: Those Aftershock wheels/tires that you have are the same as the LST wheels/tires except for the fact the tread is filled in on an LST and not on an Aftershock because I have the same Magneto wheels/w Claw MTtires(so called Aftershock) on my LST2 and they work great as well does durwank on his LST(thanks to me ).;):D
