Got my REVO!

OPTIDRIVE is only for switching from fwd to reverse. 2 speed is still centrifically engaged.

Diver, I have used MP 59's and MP 9's on mine with the sleazy start ignitor wire attached. It might be the brand of sparky you were trying to use.

And heck, if that rig could be a chameleon. The Revo has like 3 or 4 personalities, depending on how you set it up. Pretty versatile truck.

RR, I was using an OS plug since I have tons of those left over for my other nonturbo engines.

Ross, yes we can!

Oh, and I meant MC 59 and MC 9. (for the 2.5R)

If you get the RB, use 8's.

No bashing will be done with out my Revo lol. Revo is strong as hell. I have a set of rpm arms for teh front and back and so far I have never had to use them. In fact i bash hard with my truck and havent broken anything worth noting.

I was destroying buggys and T-Maxxs on sunday. I love my Revo !

Diver, you are cracking me up. Great to here you have the MT bug. From paved courses to this! You will have that thing all modded by Thanksgiving!

alot of people where I race are running the extended chassis which is made by ballistic batteries. I beleive they are running collari's

RR, If you only knew what kinds of hopups are streaming through my conscious mind! First things first ... gonna put the RB TM323 and get rid of the EZstart for the bump box. May have to get the 18TZ for an indoor nitro track that's opening up this fall as well.

The truck has already been lowered. If I can get shorter push rods , this thing will be getting much lower with stiffer progressive rate springs so I can run her more aggressively on asphalt! I'm starting to feel a "Tim Allen" grunt coming on!

Indoor nitro track where ? Offroad and on road?? Dude call me

Diver, I have the RB 323. Just remember to reset your throttle exponentials as the RB makes gobs of torque and you will want control over it for racing.

I do not have a known source for the shortened pushrods, but if you come across a good product, let us all know (Jetmech races his Revo, too).

And, yep, the Revo makes a good roadworthy R/C as well. Get it low and it can handle!

The product for the shortened pushrods are gonna be made in my garage. Solid stainless steel rods. Just gotta figure out how short I need to go to where I want the rods. Might just leave them a little fat in the middle and taper down for the mounts. Definitely beefier!

Remy, it's an indoor offroad. Place is called Long Island Raceway. They are installing the fans and ducting needed to circulate the air BUT you won't be able to use your RB in there. The engine limit is a .18's and only 1/10 scale. No 1/8 Buggies.

I dunno. Depends on how much snow is forecasted for this season. I may see if I can fab some out with the 1/8 aluminum sheets I have here. Looks like a simple design.
