I crashed it a few times.. But, The wheels keep coming lose on the truck! But, the truck runs good... I dont think rocks are a good thing to run on. They seem to tear all the plastic up on the bottom of the truck. But, I had a axel boot bust with the rocks and the shock came off.. After some 2ft jumps

:(

I'm thinking of upgraden the A-Arms and Axels to the aluminum and some GTR shocks? Info please

Welcome to RCNT!

Get you some BLUE loctite for those wheels falling off just a drop will keep them on very well!(But will still be easily removable If you get the blue loctite)

I think every one here will agree with me when I say forget the idea of metal A arms!
Metal will bend and wont bend back Rpm arms will flex but be very hard to break!

Soo in other words... Get you a set of RPM Arms they are very strong!

As for the shocks.. what do you mean they came off? are you talking about the spring retainer? If so tighten the Preload spacer a little(the thing that rides along the threads on the shock body)
That should keep them from getting enough space to work its way loose!

Hope you enjoy your stay at RCNT!

Oh and I forgot to say..

From what I've seen most people stick with stock Revo shocks and upgrade the shock shafts to the coated ones..
If your looking for a spring and oil combo for your shocks I run blue springs and 60 weight oil seems to work pretty good for jumping!
If using the setup noted above your shocks will be pretty stiff and will take a little getting used to..

rpm is great they make good stuff. arms are best iv ever used. the axl carirs well
diffent story

the axe car's were popping out to much and breaking but they have lifetime warenty so i was sending them back allmost every other week. so i just went with the Steering Block from integy and have had no problem at all .
like scooby said the metal arms . arnt good they have no give or flex witch your truck needs when jumping.

i would go with if i was you for bashing
rpm arms
integy steering blocks, these are metal witch are nice.
Alloy Rocker Arms don"t mater what company.

i gotta agree with them and say to go with rpm, unless you are ready to fork out a crap load of money everytime they brake, try and compare them both , rpm a arms, are about 10 to 15$ a set , the metal ones are about 25 to 30$ a set, they are only nice for show. rpm and tekno stuf is the way to go.which is now IMPAKT RC

Running aluminum arms tends to bend something more difficult to replace and they tend to bend. As other have said, RPM is your best bet.

Which revo do you have? This skid fits the 2.5 chassis: HCR 2.5 Skid and this one fits the 3.3 chassis: HCR 3.3 skid Those will help protect a good portion of the plastic bits under the chassis from rocks.

Integy makes cheaper under chassis skids, but I'd never recommend integy to anyone...

I've been doing alot of research 2 cause I'm just about to get a revo. I'm getting rpm arms, and better shocks for my first up grades. I've never heard of the tires comming lose. sry

oh yea I'm probably gunna do the forward only and new skid plate. just some things i recomend.

yup foc(foward only conversion) is a good thing , it reduces moving mass and strenghthens the transmission at the same time, you could also check out better servos when the times comes. but for now i say enjoy the revo and have some fun !!!!

oh and for jumping , a few little tips, when in the air , if you giv e it gas it will lean it back and if you hit the brakes it will lean it foward, just incase you didnt know.

Cool man, Thanks for the Info GUYS:yes:

rocker arms do matter... i had a set from integy. the top and bottom holes are both threaded. this is no good, if you think about it. you can't tighten the ball ends good enough.

i got a set from golden horizons, and they're much nicer. way more solid it feels as well. the top hole is not threaded, so you can really tighten them down. good stuff.
