I ordered this set...
http://www.hudy.net/xhudy/products/proddesc.php?prod_id=179&kategoria=65

I got all 8 wrenches in a box.
What I didn’t get is the replacement tips as listed.
I called Stormer where I got them and they told me the set doesn’t come with additional replacement tips. According to the sales person the Allen wrench is the handle and the replacement tips are the hex tips that came with the set......

Doesn’t seem right to me.
Has anyone else ordered this set?
If so what did it come with?

Did I completely misinterpret the description in the link supplied above?

i think what your seeing is the "+ Repl" at first i would think that ment relpacement tip. but since you didnt get any this would lead me to believe that means "replaceable tip"

never owned a set so i can't say for sure, but that would be my guess.. did you ever get my pm about the other tools?

Thats not holding any water
Allen Wrench + Repl. Tip 1.5 x 120 mm
"+" means includes or add to..

If you look at the indavidual wrench numbers they list in the package they include tips not just a handle. They have a + Repl. tip. It doesn't say a handle and a replacable tip.

Well I just got off the phone with RC America I guess I need to learn to learn to read english......

Allen Wrench + Repl. Tip 1.5 x 120 mm

Translation
Allen Wrench = Handle
+ = includes
Repl. Tip = a hex head shaft..

So for any one that may have been confused as I was you dont get an ALEN WRENCH = the handle with a tip (+) a replacement tip as the listing on their website says.

I'm sure the tools are a great quality but I'm a bit bumed out that I didnt get what I expected from the discription on their website. The reason I chose this set was for the additional tips as mentioned in post #29

Since when did an allen handle become an allen wrench? Deceptive advertising/packaging if you ask me.

I knew it sounded odd.. When I bought my set, I took it as having replaceable tips, and not an addition replaceable tip.. lol
NO SOUP FOR YOU....

According to RCA I’m the first person that has ever misread their advertising and expected to get replacement tips included with a complete wrench.

I feel a little bad for the guy I got on the phone because he couldn’t do anything for me. When I asked him if an Allen wrench was just a metal handle with no hex shaft he didn’t quite know what to say. All he could do is tell me that they sell thousands of tools every day and no one has ever read the listing and expected to get an additional replacement tip as I did.

I’m not trying to bust balls but I'm truly disappointed, not with the tools themselves but with the way they are described on Hudys site and what I expected to get for the price.

O-Well..... Just venting......

I still think I like the ProfiTool handles better.. Better grip, no roll..
I believe they are the same spring steel tips for both sets...

I just read there ad and I would have expected replacement tip too. They should word it better or include a pic that refers to each piece.

yeah that ad looks kinda shady to me to ....i would have defanitly thought it came with the tips in the shaft + replacment tips

I did learn something from them today.
I have been pronouncing it Hudy as in “Muddy” when its meant to be Hoody as in Hooters

Either way, I'm still depressed.
Maybe a trip Hooters will cheer me up. :D
I have never been to one..

Normally a trip to Hooters is followed by a visit to a strip club.

At least thats what happened the 2 times I have been to SF's Hooters.

Hey eddy don't feel bad I thought the same thing!!!
I recived mine yesterday...

Even on the box it reads:
All REPLACEMENT tips.........
NOT Replaceable tips

Main Entry: re·place·ment
Function: noun

Something that replaces; specifically : a new fixed asset or portion of an asset that takes the place of one discarded (as because of deterioration)

Wish I was there big guy, I'd take you to Hooter's to cheer ya up! I'll hook you up next time I'm there (whenever the hell that will be).

Hooters, then Spearmint Rhino, then what?!?

Eddy, I read it the way you did, but it hit me right after. Yep, chalk it up to a poor translation, or poor word choices by the packager.
