Got my dominator today, had it running and it really goes, but got a few questions.
It doesn't just creep foward at idle, it goes about jogging pace, adjusted idle, but carb slide doesn't seem to be moving, and no change it buggys behaviour
And it cuts right out sumtimes after it fires up, but glow ignitor is almoost outta charge. So probly it.

My friend got his t rex 4wd mt
And has had major troubles wif it..
It seems to go pretty quik wif no throttle like mine.
Same adjustments made, same results
But his FLYWHEEL is purple with heat and smokes like hell after engine is off?!?!!?!?

HELP!

EDIT:: My buggy revvs its tits off when wheels are off the ground

If you guys are adjusting the idle speed with the screw, you need to turn down the throttle trim on the transmitter or adjust the linkage to compensate. They work together in sync. The LSN setting also affects idle.
Cutting out right after you fire it up is normal, these engines do not like to run when cold. Experience and a good tune will help.
If you cannot get it to idle without turning the wheels you broke the clutch springs.
Your buddy's truck has fried the clutch for sure. Time for a new one.

Nar it better now, adjusted the throttle trim and its stationary when idle
Cuts out on take off ocaisionally
Only twice
Mates buggy fires and runs, any throttle, it cuts out
