  1. Bashing
Met up with some guys from a Chicago based forum in Elgin, IL at a BMX track. ( http://www.thehillbmx.com/ ) Looks like they will actually start BMX'ing there next month... every weekend...

Probably hands down some of the most fun I've had bashing in a long time. Just so many things to jump and race around on. To bad they spent most of their day wrenching and not driving. I got there an hour early and bashed alone (I was actually on time, they were an hour late), so by the time they showed up, I had a good section of the track down pretty good.

But, after about 1/2 gallon of fuel through my revo after almost 3 solid hours of running, I broke an axle. I cased a double at WOT and snapped a rear axle. Second time that has happend to me... I think it's because the RPM arms flex so much that it obviously strains the axle while it's rotating and snaps it.

I also broke a RPM arm that I didn't realize until today. Guess I'll have to check out their replacement plan. I think I'll probably just buy a new arm and wait until another breaks to send it in though.

wow sound like you had some fun. i was always told its not fun until you break something.

It sounds like you all had a blast:)

Well RPM did me good on my axle carrier I busted up. It took about a 10 days I think to get it all taken care of if I remember right. Also, if you got the extra cash, buy a set of arms so you don't have a lot of down time. I did this with the RPM axle carriers even though they sent me a new one. Now when I break one, I'm only down 10 mins instead of 10 days.

I planned on that ray. Thanks for the tip though.

I need to buy a few things anyway to get my savage drivable. I'll just through a set of RPM arms on there. Kind of sucks though that they are corner specific... I still have the stock arms if it comes to that.

If RPM is anything like the stock arms, you only need 3 sets of arms. The rear stock arms aren't specific. That is what I did for my parts tool box.
