Well I found a good deal on the internet. The guy was selling a relatively new slash with quite a bit of stuff.
Some of the upgrades he has on the truck are:
-Castle Creations sidewinder ESC
-castle creations 7700kv brushless motor
-2 LIPO batteries
-4800mah
-5000mah
-Dynamite lipo peak charger
-2 bodies the stock one and prolines dessert rat body
-3 sets of wheels
-stock set
-talons
-Blocks with switch tires on two and tractor gators on the other two
-almost all parts upgraded to RPM parts
-aluminum carriers and casters
- some spare parts...screws and stuff like that
-new steering servo
-titanium nitride shock shafts all around
Plus a few other things.

Only thing it was missing was a radio, which was fine. I got it all for $340CAD (314US)

But I have a question. I never used electric before and I'm wondering what the normal temps are for the ESC and motor. If someone could tell me some ballpark temps that'd be great. I have a temperature gun so I can check.

I don't know how accurate my friend's temp gun was, but the one time I checked at the track I was getting an average of 160-180 on my brushless motor. I don't really know if that's good or bad, but it runs great and I've never had any problems in almost half a year now.
