Yup thats my 1978 Chevy Nova! Still has the stock 350 but runs great and sounds great too!! Also has two 10" subs in the trunk!! Love it and i get my license in 13 days on the 27th! Can't wait!!

That's a nice ride man.. I had a 77 Chevy Nova with a 350, as my first car..
That thing looks to be in great shape for it's age...

Nice ride! My first car was a 1987 Olds Cutlass Supream. It was a hand me down from my parents. I drove that poor thing into the ground. Then I got to watch the local fire department torch it!! It wasn't worth anything so we gave it to them to use as a demonstration car for a mock accident.

That car is in great shape, enjoy it. I bought my first car back in 1984. It was a 1978 Z28 4-speed.

Great looking Nova, I love the rally wheels. With the 350 you might want to start saving money for tires LOL

Thanks everyone!! Yeah i was also looking at this nice 79 z28 camaro but then it sold so my parents bought me this! My dad said he is going to help me build up the engine and chrome everythign out so thats gonna be fun! I also have around 1900 saved up from my first job so far so I'm goin to be doin a lot of stuff to it!!

I like it.
Congrats on the new ride.
Be careful.

Nice I really like the looks of the nova.
Lots of goodies to be found for your car.
If your going to put some work in to the engine.Think about getting some headers & re do the exuast. Then look at getting a good under drive pully set. Then add a Giant AIR filter The biggest one you can fit under the hood.

Nice ride.
The 350 engine is probably the most mass produced V-8 in the history of American cars.
A great engine to start with. So many hop-up parts out there. From mild to wild and anywhere in between.

Good luck with it.

does anybody have any good websites for nova parts?? There are a few shops around here but they are like regular auto shops

Nice ride for a first car. I started out with a 76 Pinto, I still hang my head in shame. lol

Wow those are great 1st cars...check out mine!!!

My 1st car was a bright orange 1979 Fiat 127, it had a 1 litre engine in it......

Like the yellow one half way down on here...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_127

I paid £500 for it and it lasted me a whole year of driving it like I was Nigel Mansell or Ayrton Senna...(my F1 Heroes of the time)

A buddy of mine had one in high school but it had the 396 in it, I think that was the ss model, but still a nice ride. Yours looks very clean, Take care of that one..looks to be a classic.

Raise your head high my friend.....My first was a primer gray 1972 Gremlin... I got it in 1984.:loser:

Savager: Very nice clean looking ride!!!!

If it were mine, I would add a coffee can exhaust, mirrored tail light lens, and some giant vinyl graphics with asian writing................................

NOT!!!!

Congrats! And as Ratzo mentioned...BE CAREFUL!

What are you looking for?
Maybe do a search for "My Classic Car." I have seen some catalogs advertised on their show.

ill search for that. the things I'm mostly looking for right now is the headliner, right side rear view mirror(if you haevnt noticed mine doesn't have one), and maybe air filters
