I picked up the SMT grave digger today! I'm super stoked about it The thing is in pristine condition I put more damage on my cars from driving them across my living room then this truck has had put on it The body is perfect too perfect for me to wreck so now I got to get another body for this truck I can't there's no way I can in clear conscience ruin this perfect body that is going to be hard to get at some point.
It's got the box in perfect condition The instruction manual sealed in the bag still the spare parts bag sealed still The box looks like it was stored in another box

Nice ride. Those tactics are long discontinued. I got 3 or 4 myself. Pretty good servos. Can't wait to see it in iys natural environment.

its brushed, i dont like that lol, I'm looking at cheaper end replacements, and think I'm gonna start with just the stuff needed to make it survive, id like to throw a brushless in it but, our rules say that in sport mod(which I've decided is its new bracket)i am imited to a 17 turn brushed motor with a 2 motor max.

seems like its a wraith front and a yeti rear.
ill be using wraith links and yeti trailing arms, swapping out the c hubs, knuckles, then when i can afford to throw a brushless system in it ill worry about transmission.
but for now I'm mostly just waiting on daylight so i can go break it .. i mean run it

I would run it like that. Swap out your suspension parts and get it running how you like. If you still want more speed after that, at least the truck will be ready for the extra power. 😎
I can't wait to see the vids! 😁

Front/rear links are all the same length. The lowers are Yeti rear length. Uppers, I think are SMT specific (from what I can remember) but they're the same front and rear.

Keep a constant eye on those stock trailing arms because they bend like warm butter over time and slowly throw off the suspension geometry causing wonky handling. I always had good luck with the SSD trailing arms on my SMTs.

Do your sport mod rules require shocks on axle or can you run shocks on trailing arms?
I would slap a front sway bar on it, a 17t motor, and send it!

Forgot to add: The SMT Grave Digger holds a special spot in my heart. It was what led me back into the hobby 5 years ago after a LONG hiatus.

the rule sheet says any suspension and shocks are allowed, i was looking at the ssd stuff, front sway bar is in my list on the bay, nice!

Awesome!!! That would be a tough decision on the body it just looks like the real deal. 🤔
You know the first time you send it, it will definitely break, specially if you don’t want to 😂 just how it works for me at least.

So that's where all the damage to your rigs is coming from, the living room?
Bro, live a little, branch out to the yard at least. :p
Congrats bud, awesome rig.

I’m really loving these a lot! Grave digger is a legend and so is this rig. Fantastic. I hope you stole it!
was 400, so not bad in comparison to others i see, considering this one was basically brand new lol

It’s practically brand new! Nice!!! That’s awesome you pounced on it. Poor bastard. He REALLY needed that money! 🤣 Start looking for a body but I liked the suspense and chassis upgrades. Then if you want power? 💥 it’s built

to be competitive in the sport mod class i need to run 2 motors to get the =acceleration off the line, i am looking for a dual motor chassis plate currently, i know right its brand new! i had to score it even tho i was specifically looking for an Lmt, but i couldnt pass on it
