Ok, I have been doing some research about the Kyosho MP777, Kyosho MP777 SP1, and Kyosho MP777 SP2.

The only thing I found out are SP2 comes with longer chassis, longer shocks shaft & spring.

So my question is what extra does SP1 compared over regular MP777. And did I miss anything on the SP2 over SP1?

Help... input please.. Thanks!

My dad and I run a MP777 SP1, it is a very nice buggy, it handles like a dream. The SP1 has many things over the regular MP777 but there is not a huge difference between the SP1/2.

The SP1 over the reg has, Universals all around, thicker shock towers, better chassis, better mounts, front limited slip diff, better shocks, better brakes, and some misc aluminum stuff instead of plastic like radio posts etc...

The SP2 has longer chassis, longer rear shocks, engine and center diff were moved for better handling, thicker shocktowers, different shock springs, and no front limited slip diff.

I've probably missed some things but those are the major things. I have built a regular MP777 and a MP777 SP1 so if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

Oh, and Ratzo has a SP2, he'll chime in soon.

sp2 more stable.. for the price of those things.. F*** THAT! Jammin all the way baby... for 650 + tour get a good car with philips head screws that strip easy and cast steering knuckles -_-... Go with what you want but if you are just doin club racing. save a couple hundred bucks and get somethin else. my opinion.. if you get that mp777.. TURN AND BURN BABY TURN AND BURN!

According to all the testing from all the major magazines, the 777 sp2 is the best buggy on the market.
The Jammin buggy was second, and cost a lot less so I agree with Kyosho138's post.
I feel that the Jammin is a better buggy than the box stock mp 777.
The sp 1-2 do have a lot more upgrades over the standard 777.
Jammin comes with all the bells and whistles.

Just a thought, The Ofna Hyper 7 pcr pro is nothing to sneeze at. Great buggy for racing and bashing as well.

Thanks for all the input guys.

FYI.. I have a Jammin X1CR Pro now. I love it and the only thing I broke so far is a rear shock end. I have ordered the plastic piece of poop part for it, right now I have a TTR EB4S3 shocks on until I get the parts in. Kinda like the TTR shocks at this moment.

I am in between Kyosho SP1 and SP2 now. Just want to make sure which people will prefer and run more with. I do not wish to end up with something that noone else know about the setup and I can't get any help. :D

Wow... My wish list getting longer and longer and a heck lot longer now ....
Again.. Thank you so much for the info.

all more of my opinions being thrown out.. i actually thought about this last night. If you really look.. all buggies are the same. some just may take a little more time to get right than the others. SP2 looks to be good beacause of the stability, but I'm not gunna go from what a magazine tells me cause some of them actually know how to drive and move of us here suck :-D, jammin, sp2,mbx5. hell i like em all they are all winning cars go for what YOU like and what YOU can afford BECAUSE THAT WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY! they are good cars so can't blame the car :-D
