Got A Crazy Idea!!

hey guys, well my mom has been thinking about getting rid of her 94 geo metro. and well my friends bro has an old b-18 vtec engine sittin in there garage that isnt being used. would it be possible with some modifications to make that bad boy fit in it? It would be a mean machine if u could. I got the little thing to max speed the other day and she was flying!! i would have the only geo around that could be capible of doing over 130 mph!

a 130mph metro eh? Unfortunately, I've never driven over 100 mph and quite honestly... I'm not sure a metro would be my vehicle of choice to do it in... BUT poop IT'D BE QUICK!

Umm dude honestly if you got the cojones to go 130 in t damn metro than you should make that bad boy fit right up in there. Ok so on a technical note there would be a crap load of re-wiring that you would have to do to that car.

well your right about one thing it is crazy..a metro going 130mph
not.when i see a geo metro going down the freeway i get the hell away from it.those little rims and tires doing 70 is scary enouf.but at 130 give me a break..you whould be looken at a death trap.so unless your looken to kill your self.i whould look at something to put that engin in..

hey Bryan,

Have you found a conversion for that engine in a Metro? I'm sure it could fit but tell me this is a pipe dream? Geo Metros turn into a ball of alluminum foil if/when they get in a wreck. They aren't getting 40MPG because they have diesel engines....lol. I was gonna get a Metro in HS and my father told me he'd kick me out of the house if I bought the "deathtrap"..hehe. Two weeks l8tr I had my first rusty orange Volvo.

Hey Bryan, I'm not trying to piss on your dream but I would hate to c you become a teenage auto death statistic because you decided to top out your Honda Powered Geo metro because you hit a poll or wall and died. Geo Metros are on the top of the list for the lowest frame welds of any car sold in the USA. That means they have roughly the same strutural integrity as a Barbie dream car. Even my death trap RX-7 has almost 3x's as many frame welds as a Metro.

Got any pics bro? That would be sweet as some Metro's are descent looking and some are utter ass.

I dunno why but sliding a car didnt bother her as much as my shifting. She's fromt he V8 day and stock v8s dont shift that hihg, and when I'd nail 7k she'd flip the hell out and start screaming.
