ok well i have been doing some shopping today and compiled a list of parts i would like to put on my revo i already have the FOC and rpm a-arms tell me what you guys think?

tekno rx/battery and fuel tank mount.
tekno throttle servo mount.
p2 rockers
lunsford pushrods
tekno wing mount.
pro-line wing.
trx alum rocker posts.
titanium shocks shafts
golden horizons shocks caps.

open to suggestions but would like to know about the parts i have selected
Just looking for good bashing at my home track and maybe some club racing this will only be batch one of many to come.
thanks,
bob

You made a good selection. What fuel tank you going to use?

The list looks good. You can't go wrong with tekno stuff thats for shure. Oh and you may want to throw a Motor Savor air filter in there to, or traxxas's new one.

doesn't the revo have the gtr shocks in it?? I've seen the hardened ones but they just have better bodies i dont see how that will help me and for the moment i will be running the stock tank

motor saver filter sounds like a good idea but I'm really going build the truck up just to go bigblock after some drivetrain upgrades next time around so i dont want to spend money on stuff for this block. but i will def. get one when i get my bigblock

Wouldn't you be able to use the motor saver on the new engine as well, and it's a cheap way to save an engine at around $10.

I'm going with A LOT of Tekno stuff with my Revo build, and so far I've been very pleased. I've ordered several things from them directly and their shipping time is extraordinary. They actually show their customers that they care, unlike a lot of other companies. When building hot rods, when you buy parts the guys will usually throw in a company T-Shirt or coffee mug just to show they care. Unfortunately, no matter how much you spend you rarely see this in RC. Tekno RC sent me a free T-Shirt with my very first order, and they do it with each conversion kit they sell.

I'm just curious, are you building your revo for the track or for playing around?

well thats a hard question charles i have a home track that me and my buddies will be racing on and i may go up to the local track and do some club type stuff not looking for a pro racer I'm trying to get a tough basher thats good for racing as well

and yeah i saw the gh sale this morning i have some of ther stuff will definatly get the shock towers,2 more caps and some ends when i get to the suspension stage of my build

so tekno is good do you guys recomend lunsfords titanium stuff or the traxxas aluminum ups??

doesn't lunsford carry a lifetime warrentee on there stuff? and the traxxas stuff is pricey
