HEy u guys i just typed in savage4.6 into the search at google and found this site
www.rctechonline.com
i noticed they had the savage ss for 400$ and wanted to know if they were a ok site to buy from. Thanks for any replies.

havent heard of them before but thats a good price...but i see its pre order they dont have any

why are you finaly taking the savage plunge?

o i just was lookin aorund online I'm probably gonna get one but not as soon as i thought but hey atleast my new house is being built so then i can get one after that is done and finished. It should be finished by september or november. LOL thats quite a way off, hey atleast by then if the prices are gonna drop a little they will have or what not. When i get it I'm probably gonna go with tower i love their shipping. Their the best iv delt with online so far.

If you are unsure of a place you can always spend the extra 28$ for safty and check out RushRC.com there are also a lot of known and trusted R/C sites but you may be paying a bit more because of that fact.

o ok Thanks I pretty much had it down to rushrc or tower so thanks for that extra encouragement.

towerhobbies is a great website with tons of stuff and pretty good prices

Yeah tower is the only site iv used so far and had a great experience with them.

Seems no one can come close to there shipping prices....at least to AK anyways. I took Ultimatehobbies up on the "free shipping" promo since they had the 4.6 in stock, that didn't apply to AK I found out the next day after they called to confirm I still wanted it. It was going to cost $60 :jet: needless to say I CANX that order and placed it through Tower since they finally got them back in stock. Tower only charges $8 for shipping to AK and my orders still get here in 3-4 days, go figure.

yep they have the best shipping prices for me to i bought off of rc solutions once nad they charged 10$ to send me a set of bulkheads to me thats kinda expensive iv found towr to be the best so far cuz its a good shipping price and its fast.

I have my Savage SS 4.6 on the way and it cost $412 with shipping. :tank:

Rc-solutions sells to horizonhobbies.com as well. Maybe the shipping will be more favorable there.

yeah, ill check that out, thanks i found some r/c-solutions stuff on their once does r/c-solutions sell to any one else?

hey i looked into it and found the savage roll cage so thnks ill be buying it from there if i ever get the savage its self. Kinda lookin at the Nitro MT2 18ss waht u think i like both just wish i had the money to get both at the same time, lol

I don't know if they are sold anywhere else other than directly from themselves.

Depending on what you want to do, both the MT2 and savage are good choices. I have the savage and the MT2's older brother the Nitro MT. The nitro MT is quite a bit weaker. It was designed to be considerably lighter and more for racing. The MT2 is built to be a good basher, but I don't know of anything that beats the savage in bashing ability.

I've re-inforced a few things on the NMT. Just last weekend, I built a front bumper out of 3/16 inch cold rolled steel. That should help with my front end digs into the ground on jumps... or rather landings.

I also installed UE supermaxx shocks and an OS 18. I just bought a header off one guy and a pipe off another to install. I also made a chassis re-inforcement plate out of the 3/16 steel to help ward off chassis flex.

yeah i have a friend here that ownes the MT u have, the older one, and i liked it alot it was really cool man. i want so many things in this hobby its just i dont have a job to suppoart it, o well and the parents would never let me buy this stuff, o well. Man this is a really fun hobby, is the MT2 a stadium truck? i like both vhicles.

yeah thats another reason i like it, it sounds really nice well its between the MT2 @ 475.55$ or the savage @ 534.67$ or somewhere around there.

I have the original HPI Nitro Rush (my first nitro), the HPI MT Racer which is the for runner of the MT2 SS that I put over $1000 in it before I ever put fuel in it and no not a lot or alloy only in the known week places. Great truck! Now I have my Savage SS 4.6 on the way and sure I will have a lot in it before I put fuel in it. I do not run any of my kits until they are just like I want them.
