Good motor choice for my Savage 25?

You can't have too much power :D

I personnaly would suggest either the Wasp .28. I think it would be a better all around engine. The SH .28 will have kick ass low end probably similar to the Wasp, be I bet you the Wasp will pull away on the straits because of its awesome high end.

The 24.7 will be more controllable engine if your just learning though.
 
Check out markallens video, if I didn't already have a collari I'd send my motor to him to get it modded.

I saw markallens video, that mod'd s-25 is insane. By doing the mod to it does this shorten the life of the engine at all?I know when these mods are done its at your own risk. How much is he charging to do the mod, I'm interested in it.

Improper maintenance shortens the life of the ride. Improper driving shortens the life of the ride. The driver is the one n control of the engines life. So be nice to your engine. Look on this site for engine maintenance tips,

Look up ARO, Cooling down at BDC, cleaning the engine. Too much dirt on your engine can inhibit heat retention thus overheating.
 
I understand proper maintenance and operation ensures a long engine life. I guess what I meant to say was when the engine mods are done is it creating so much power that its prematurely stressing all the engine internals beyond their limits.
 
First off, what kind of racing are ya gonna do?? If it is a short down and back course with a few small jumps, you dont need much. Driver experience reigns here. If it is long course with whoops and big jumps the wasp .28, diablo .28, Xtm 24-7. There are lots of good motors for this. MaxxFX'x 10 yr old son has a Savage with the 24-7 in it and this kid can chase my Savage down(even if I have a good heaed start) and bump or pass me. But for my 200 bucks I went with the Collari .30
 
I got the 247 pro the other day and yet to break it in this weekend. I heard that there is some gh single stinger pipe, can someone give me a link to this?

What is a good glow plug if i am going to use 30% dynamite fuel for racing?

I will be ok using the stock savage header and pipe for my first race and break in, right?

Off topic, but NOT! The Porsche is not walking all over a modded Z06. The Porsche has a nicer interior but as far as performance goes, it ain't walkin a modded Z06.


With respect to the original topic, a Picco 26 or a Picco 27 is worth a look. A well tuned Picco is a strong force.
